Our school now offers three separate degrees, depending on the requirements a student wishes to meet:


1) Certificate of Completion of the East West Herb Course

Requirement:

  • Completion of the 36-lesson East West Professional Herbalist Course (written material only; no seminars)


2) Certificate of Completion as a Planetary Herbalist

Requirements:

  • Completion of the 36-lesson East West Professional Herbalist Course
  • Completion of the Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced Tracks of the East West Herb Seminar


3) EWCH Certification Program

Requirements:

  • Completion of the 36-lesson East West Professional Herbalist Course
  • Completion of the Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced Tracks of the East West Herb Seminar
  • Completion of 400 minimum mentoring hours under the supervision of an East West Herb School approved mentor
  • Presentation of three hour-long chat room studies covering the following topics: 1) a case study, 2) a clinical plant monograph and 3) a specific disease treatment.
  • Attendance at 18 chats/year on the student forum for three years (a total of 54 chats)
  • Take and pass 12 online quizzes/year for three years (a total of 36 passed quizzes)
  • Completion of Anatomy and Physiology course (from an approved school or our East West A&P Course)
  • Completion of Pathology and Disease course (from an approved school or our East West A&P Course)

 


 

NOTE: If at any time you''ll want to pursue being a professional or clinical herbalist, it is more cost effective to purchase the Professional Herbalist Course from the start.
